A SUMMER TO REMEMBER
As summer comes to a close, we want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible season we’ve shared together as a chapter. From lively membership drives to our monthly happy hours, it’s been inspiring to see our community come together to connect, collaborate, and celebrate.
A true highlight of the season was our annual Big Apple Gala, where we honored the remarkable Marc Wilson, who was inducted into the Hall of Legends for his decades of service to our industry. We also welcomed our newly appointed 2025–2026 Board of Directors, who will continue to guide and grow our chapter with passion and purpose.
Beyond New York, our members joined forces with colleagues from across the region at the BUILD Retreat in Boston, deepening relationships and gaining valuable insights to bring back to our local community.
None of this would be possible without our members. The energy, expertise, and generosity you bring to the table are what make ILEA NY such a vibrant, supportive, and forward-thinking community. Thank you for showing up, contributing, and making each event memorable.
Here’s to carrying this momentum into the fall, and we can’t wait to see all the ways our chapter will continue to thrive together!

At our annual Big Apple Gala, the ILEA NY Metro community proudly inducted Marc Wilson into the Hall of Legends, recognizing his decades of leadership, creativity, and dedicated service to the events industry.
Marc brings more than 20 years of expertise as the Executive Creative Director and visionary behind The Style Marc Inc., a celebrated floral design and event production studio based in Harlem, New York. His work continues to shape the industry with artistry, innovation, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.

Committee members play a vital role in our chapter. Volunteering is a great way to get the most out of your membership - meet and connect with fellow members, help build the chapter and industry, and become more rooted within our community!
Committee roles are volunteer positions, and can be tailored to fit your experience and availability. We understand that everyone’s ability to participate is different, and we welcome and appreciate your help, time, and skill set. Our committees typically meet a minimum of four times a year.
